In the Commonwealth Athletic Conference, Kendra O’Brien recorded 15 points, while Nellie Chan and Felicia Melendez both finished with 10 points for Greater Lowell (3-1) in a win over Greater Lawrence. Kellyn Preira and Niya Morgen scored 20 points each to power St. Mary’s (5-1) to a victory over Ridge Community High and win the Rumble on the Ridge tournament.
In a South Coast Conference battle, Nate Levesque notched 20 points and 17 boards in a victory for Apponequet (1-2) over Somerset Berkley. Two Randolph High School music students were accepted to the South Eastern Massachusetts Music Educators Association Senior District Music Festival. The RPS music department is proud to announce that two RHS students were selected to participate in this year’s winter festival.
On January 6 th and 7 th , selected students will be able to take part in the two day Senior Districts Festival, ending in a concert featuring skilled high school musicians from South Eastern Massachusetts. Just as a student's report card shows how they are performing, the school report card shows how a school is performing in multiple areas. It shows the school's strengths and the challenges that need to be addressed to ensure the school is meeting the needs of all students. In a South Shore League contest, Isaiah Michel collected 20 points and nine rebounds for Randolph (3-0) in a win over Abington (2-2). … Matt Youngquist and Ryan Marzelli knocked down 18 points each to help Middleboro (1-3) edge Norwell in overtime.
